Welcome!

Happy summer!  Over the next few months we will continue to keep a close eye on our vineyards, and make sure that they have reached their potential by the fall; we had a wonderful first year as farmers and our 2009 Estate grapes are already in barrels aging for about another year and a half.  In June we also had our CCOF inspection and they, once again, approved our organic farming techniques.  We can’t wait to see what this year brings!
 

We are actively working with the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon in the market right now, and the reception has been great!  We've received a number of awards for this wine, and we hold these in high regard, as it takes a large panel of esteemed judges to make the award decisions.  

July marks the official release of our 2009 Chardonnay.  Once again, we sourced our grapes from the Henry Ranch in the Carneros Appellation; this has been a great vineyard source for us during the past three vintages.  The cool air fog in the San Pablo Bay remains longer during the day, providing great conditions for growing Chardonnay with crisp acidity....we love it!
 

What to expect from our wines.....If you’ve been a fan of our Cabernets in the past, the 2006 Cab will not disappoint.  We have a gentleman who has not only remained a great customer, but he’s become a true friend of the winery over the years, inviting the Partridge’s into his home, and vice versa.  We were shocked this year when he exclaimed, “This is THE best Cabernet you guys have ever made!”  Our 2006 Cabernet is ripe and opulent, allowing the red fruit flavors to dance a joyous jig on the palate. The tannins are a perfect balance of muscle and finesse, and the finish is nothing short of pure satisfaction.  Doesn’t that sound wonderful?  Try a bottle for yourself today!

If you would rather show some restraint by aging our Cabernet a few more month, now is the perfect time to try our Chardonnay!  Our delicious white gem is full of vibrant fruit flavors that marry on the palate and deliver a crisp, clean finish.  Citrus notes, along with apricot, nectarine, and honeydew melon deliver a nicely balanced and refreshing wine.  You cannot go wrong with our Chardonnay.
