2005 was a long, moderate harvest, which allowed for a full flavor maturity and soft, balanced tannin structure. Grapes were sourced from the Hoopes and Batuello Vineyards. The wine was aged for 20 months in 100% French Oak, and it was bottled in June 2007. TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of cassis, plumbs, vanilla, and cloves. The mouth is ripe and opulent, full of red fruits and berry flavors. The tannins are balanced and velvety, with a long, persistent, fruit driven finish. Release Date: February 1, 2008
